In this post, I’ll share our experience, travel tips, and why this hidden gem should be on your itinerary. Opening Hours: The village is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to explore and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Getting There

We started our trip at 8:30 AM from the Ekkamai Bus Terminal in Bangkok. Tickets cost 110 THB per person, and the bus ride was smooth and comfortable. Around 10:30 AM, we arrived at Bangsaen Beach.

From there, we took a quick ride using Bolt to Bangsaen Toshin Japanese Village. The ride took about 10 to 15 minutes, making it easy to reach the village without any hassle. But if you’re traveling alone or prefer a faster, more local option, there are plenty of motorcycle taxis available that can get you there quickly and affordably.

First Impressions

The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by traditional Japanese-style buildings, a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The weather was hot, so the first thing we did was cool down with a big cup of crushed ice dessert for 80 THB, sweet, cold, and perfect for the day.

Lunch in the Village

For lunch, we dined at a cozy Japanese restaurant inside Bangsaen Toshin Japanese Village. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the fresh and delicious quality of the food.

We ordered fresh karaage (Japanese fried chicken), pork yakinikudon (grilled pork rice bowl), hot green tea, and edamame as a starter. Each dish was flavorful and comforting, a perfect meal after exploring the village in the heat.
